I am watching it now, I am in total shock.

Ronald is the biggest low life ever. I'm sorry he could not represent a reputable organization in any way, shape, form or fashion. I cant believe this man is worth the amount of money he receives from the District. The mere fact that he butchered every other single word in his opening statement is a testament that he's not a highly educated man.

I have to share this with my friends over drinks, will definitely make for good entertainment.

Moten was extremely defensive. If you have nothing to hide why not answer the questions? Was his legal counsel a licensed attorney? Why did Moten "TES-TA-LIE" that he didn's speak with the Executive Branch about this? Earlier he testified that he spoke with Chip Richardson, who is a member of the Executive Branch and the General Counsel for Fenty.

Why is NIckles blocking DC employees from being deposed?

There is more to this than meets the eye.

Moten, you did time before. Do you want to go into your 40s doing time in prison? Sprint to the FBI and "snitch" on DC Government corruption.

Save yourself, Moten. You possess a wealth of information pertaining to DC Government corruption.

Moten, are you aware that you can be rewarded financially for exposing fraud, waste and abuse of the Dc Government because the DC Government receives federal money?

Your allegiance no longer should be to Fenty and Crew, they will leave you out to dry after you are indicted. They will continue on with their lives and prosper, while you age in a federal prison.

Nickles will ensure that Fenty is not exposed to the criminal acts involving the fire truck and ambulance.

i'm still struggling to understand why the Moten angle is interesting.

That the gov't considered a multi-hundred-thousand-dollar fire truck to be "surplus" and to pass it to cronies for free is what is interesting.

After viewing the deposition on DC channel 13 I am totally embarrassed by Ron Moten's answers, or lack of answers and recollection of simple details. It is obvious that his dumb a** was used by Fenty, Skinner and employees of Fenty's executive office to be the middle man for the transfer of surplus equipment to the Dominican Republic. He was overly defensive the entire deposition...Fenty associates with this retard, and he is the CEO of a non profit organization that has received this year 3 million dollars in District contracts called Peaceoholics?

Something is missing here, and I hope Mendelson and Cheh are able to find out what it is.

The only thing missing from Moten's appearance today was a curly wig and a red nose. What an clown to demand that this be an open deposition that he continued to call a "disposition". This deposition put him in a bad disposition and make me wonder how can he help a troubled youth when he can't help himself.

What an idiot. I have even less respect for Moten now. His beef is not with the Council, but with Skinner and Jannarone. All the victimization crap he should've saved for somewhere else. If anything, his deposition makes Peaceoholics look quite the pawn and wheeler-dealer in this. If you have a 501c3 organization, why risk your reputation and that of your organization on a scant of noteriety just to get a trip to the DR. Even he's not that dumb to know that you can't get something for nothing. Although what was done is probably "legal", it has all the makings of money laundering and such makings put a blight on Peaceoholics' ex-offender rehabilitation mantra. He called this a circus, and indeed he didn't disappoint with his acrobatics.
