You've made one or two errors at least on this blog, Angry Al. You're rightfully being taken to task for passing judgment immediately, and not just for this story. But you've clearly cemented your position and will now stubbornly hold onto it in the face of the facts.

People who are so distracted they cannot complete a bowel movement are unlikely to be able to complete a thought. Try to wrap your mind around this, & go back & sit on the pot & finish the bowel movement & try to finish a thought.

All of the passengers said no brakes were applied. Sometimes it is better to rely on eyewitnesses than a preliminary report of a possibly biased investigator.

Moreover, the WTOP statement linked just says, “Investigators have found the emergency braking system had been in use 300 to 400 feet before the crash.” “Had been in use”? That’s an equivocal statement that proves nothing.

Also, how long is the line of sight at the collision? Operator error. I have not made an error since 1994.

Skipper, I'm not going to break the bloggers code of ethics on this one, but I'm sure Angry Al is going to say that 400 feet isn't enough distance to stop a train...considering it takes about 120 to stop a car. Stay tuned. LOL!

Funny how dipshit angry al gonzalez isn't talking out of his ass about how he was positive the accident was due to the train operator's negligence.
