Just when I thought I was missing DC...

*Biggest Metro-related story, probably ever?
*Online casts are sparse, not updated
*This happened at 5pm, not overnight
*WAMU HAS a news staff

Good luck everyone - what an awful day, even from afar.

Yes, WAMU should have suddenly developed a breaking news section this evening to serve all those people who go to the WAMU site for breaking news that has never been there. They're obviously a bunch of heartless bastards.

Hah. OK, really creativemeat?

No links for WMATA? Phone numbers for relatives who don't live in radio broadcast range? Photos? Links to AP updates?

Radio is a lot more than 'r-a-d-i-o' these days.
They may as well not have an website then.

But hell, I'm sleepy and tired and don't feel like getting into this anymore.

I'm sure WAMU will talk about about the crash on the r-a-d-i-o.

More surprising is that WP.com has not updated the fatality figures on their main page.

Former District resident here, who still reads the Post and the City Paper (online).

Just wanted to say thanks to the City Paper for covering everything tonight. The pictures, liveblogs, updates, etc.

I came here and to WAMU's site because I figured everyone would be going to watch coverage at the TV sites.

Which brings me to say: PLEASE VISIT www.wamu.org NOW.
It's as if nothing at all has happened.

Infuckingcredible. The top two news stories are about DC protests for Iran and dog bite seminars.

Seriously, check it out.
