"WSSC doesn't even acknowledge that there is anything controversial about their selection, instead citing that they have a close working relationship with Johnson because WASA treats WSSC's sewage," writes Dave. "With this hiring decision, isn't it now the other way around?"

I'm only here because I've decided to stop reading the Washington Post and read more of the Citypaper for my local news since they fired Froomkin. So really you should be writing a thank-you note to Fred Hiatt.
