Not a single police officer prosecuted for shooting a citizen in the past 10 years!! Kinda says it all. Hey Cherkis: Did you ask about the past 20 years? Betcha the answer is the same: NONE. Gee, wonder why people question the credibility of local law enforcement partners investigating themselves.

My sympathies go out to the family. It is no surprise given the facts of the Ralings case that a police officer will never be tried let alone convicted. I hope a civil jury makes them pay for not waiting until properly trained mental health professionals or police negotiators showed up. Also, we know Lanier will not do a thing to the officers except pat them on the butt.
