Just seems so faux hip, and like you're tryin too hard (The whole series does.). Moved here pre Barry, fwiw. Also the city is in fact losing a lot of black people everyday.

When did you guys move to D.C.? If the answer is post-Barry, get with the program. "Chocolate City" is Washington's historic nickname. I didn't make this shit up. Also, I'm black, so it's all good.

Is it just me, or does this article have a wee little tinge of borderline racist? The ill-placed "chocolate city" joke tinges the whole rest of the piece with a sour, unpleasant flavor.
