Seriously. He is now just trying to cover his a$$ for his TOTAL screw up on the gun laws. For the record, you could register "assault weapons" up until last year. Were they a problem? No, because these types of weapons are used in less than 2% of all crimes. If we lose this chance for the vote, it is his hand the Council's fault. Mendo has gone off the deep end. Seriously. District residents can rest. We all now know that Mendo is against the gun amendment. Maybe if actually allowed law abiding citizens to obtain access of a firearm and not insult the Supreme Court's decision, we wouldn't be in this mess.
