Geat Ideal, The Town of Fairmount Heights is one of our nation's oldest black towns. Local Business man Tommy Broadwater owner of the Ebony Inn Restaurant is the Area's First Black State Senator and former Fairmount Heights Councilman Arthur Jackson is now a Montgomery County Cable Commissioner. I think this would be a great story

City Paper should do an article on the Politics of Small Towns like Fairmount Heights, which is one of the oldest Black Incorporated Towns in America. The onday My 4th Mayor Election with controvesrial Mayor Candidate Nathaniel Mines, would make for great reading. Also the Town of Home of Former D.C.Mayor Candidate Arthur Action Jackson, a former Town councilman who moved to Ward 8 and was elected the ward's reparesntative to the DC.Democratic State Committee. The Town is rrich in history. Detroit Mayor Dave Bing 's family has owned porperty in the town for years.

A great story for city paper
