Mickey Rourke on an Academy Award: “You can’t eat it, you can’t fuck it, and it won’t get me into heaven.”

That's what The Wrestler star told Barbara Walters in her pre-Oscar special last night, so don't feel too bad that Rourke lost the Best Actor race to Sean Penn.

(How I wanted to smack her when she interrupted to underline and italicize his perfectly clear and very sad "I didn't want to be here.") The Oscar would have been nice, but I'm guessing that Rourke isn't too down on himself today.
