LL, despite the week metaphor and brevity, I'm glad to see Jaffe (finally) covering both the dark and bright sides of the Fenty admin. Still, the Fenty practice of hiring those with "thin qualifications" isn't new or jaw dropping really. I think these recent cases with the PERB and Lori Lee at public utilities board are making headlines due to clear evidence of thin qualifications and family or financial ties being so obvious (per google search of course;)

I hope that your article tomorrow will chronicle Fenty's history of hiring/appointing the thinly qualified to lead some of DC's agencies (some serving the cities' most vulnerable residents) at the taxpayers' expense.

I hope that this laundry list will include Clinton LeSeur, Michelle Rhee, Kaya Henderson, Sean Gough, Tene Dolphin, Bridget Davis, Tracy Sandler, Leila Edmonds and Gabe Klein.
