Of course, I didn't pay anything remotely close to full price. GW's approach to tuition is practically socialist; it's a "soak the rich to pay for the poor but bright" system. Anecdotally, I know that AU's Washington Semester program has seen a big dip in enrollment. I suspect GWU has seen the same. That means a shortfall in revenue, which they are trying to make up. I think there problem is a total inability to realize that, in today's climate, a lowering of tuition might actually increase enrollment and therefore revenue. And, no, it's not worth it.
