It's an absurd suggestion, by some commenters here, that the quality of a question is dependent upon the quality of the answer. Tapper's job is to ask the questions that often receive a duck or spin. The non answer is, in fact, more indicative of the quality of the questioning.

Tapper may not display the deep dramatic news voice or eyebrow gymnastics of reporters past, but Colbert has ably reduced those theatrics to the low peg of ridicule they deserve. Tapper has a potent brain with a laser beam coming out of it, and that's what garners respect today. People of any party or position should be cautious about standing in the target spot.

Well, what made it a good question was that this President was actually able to answer it with a concise one two three list...I agree that if you thought it was such a great question, not sure how you couldn't remember the answer...geeeeeeezzzuz....

Hmm..well if it was such a great question, it would have resulted in a memorable answer. That you can't remember it, makes me wonder.
