While your cheap shot at Rep. Jason Chaffetz might make you feel better, it only tells me you have no serious argument to make in that debate.

Just a correction. You said:
"In WaPo letter, head of teacher-accrediting organization asks DCPS to keep supporting teachers who want to be accredited. (Michelle Rhee said she wasn’t gonna do that any more.)"
Actually, the letter writer is the head of the body that accredits teacher education programs in colleges and universities, not teachers. It isn't self-serving since they are really two different bodies and his group is not affected by her decision at all. There are other, bigger issues about why this is a bad decision on her part since there is evidence that teachers who are Nationally Board Certified do actually produce higher student achievement scores than do their peers, and there is not that evidence for teachers having attended NCATE institutions. But that is for another day.

“Brown…said all vendors have been paid, but he would like to pay his staff and himself….’I want to clean up what little change is out.’”

Wait, so Brown is raising money to pay himself? I knew he was going to be a corrupt embarassment, but I didn't think he'd get started quite so fast.

What does that last sentance even mean? I want to shake down what little money lobbyists still have?
