Charter school? What's a charter school? I really don't care if they crash and burn because the citizens of Washington don't realize they're my responsibility too. So they don't realize what a "crappy" job I've done handling them. P.S. I'm arrogant, supercilious, tough, nasty, and out for myself -- oh, why didn't I become a lawyer!

Only in America can a Korean run a predominantly Black school system. Try the reverse; it would never happen! Superintendents should at least run schools first.
As for Fenty, he only hires woman, so he can maintain more control with little resistance. This entire situation is sickening.

What do you think I am, STUPID? Of COURSE I know that:

- Parents DO make a difference in their kids’ ability to learn
- Inexperienced teachers are NO WAY superior to experienced teachers
- I didn’t raise any scores in Baltimore from 13% to 90%
- Those principals I fired because they didn’t “fit” really had the goods on me
- I suckered the media into mistaking tough talk for competence

It’s all part of my plan for the DC schools to fail, proving that if even an articulate, young workaholic genius like me can’t succeed, it’s time to shutter the public schools and put me in charge of the charter schools for even bigger bucks!
