Ben’s May Be Obama Central, But It’ll Give You Gas
Yeah, the line is still stretching down the alley outside of Ben's Chili Bowl, but some people are getting wise to this whole operation. Gayla Dodson is a 46-year-old woman who drove here from Atlanta. She made the pilgrimage to Ben's. She stood outside in her leopard-print hat and got her picture snapped in front of the OBAMA red, white, and blue ice sculpture by CakeMan Raven (why it was not a cake sculpture, I don't know), but there was no way in hell Dodson was going in and chowing down.
"I looked at the food...and, you know, I think it'll give me gas." She whispered that last part. "I can take the spicy," she adds, "but all that other stuff? I don't think so."

Yeah well it's Wednesday night and there is STILL a line out the door and into the alley. Craziness.

oh lord...I hope it doesn't turn into how those cheesesteak places are in Philly on South St...ie "Jim's", "Pat's", etc..
