There had been arguments about Robert Patttinson being ugly or not, dude look at that hair, does he cut it himself? he goes to events on a nice sunny day looking like theres been a hurricane on his house, or rather the oil in his hair builds up and through months or even years of not washing it making it hard and rough, seriously from what i've seen, faces of people alters when they grow older, he might look nice in Harry Potter and maybe 'hot', but that was a century ago, in Twilight his nice image doesn't appeal to me anymore, in fact he's not a sensible and intelligent person and even in a way rude, he doesn't respect his fans and from the pictures i've seen, he looks like a "i'm too good for this" guy, so i suppose he's cocky too. even the film crew in "remember me" doesn't like his attitude. Honestly if he keeps this "self-centered" attitude, Twilight movies wouldn't far from the end of his career, Acting with looks and acting with skills are two different topics. I mean : Teen's Choice awards, maybe, but Oscars?, not a chance.

Intensely dedicated? He goes to parties all the time, and focuses much of his existence on his stalkeresque fixation with his drug-loving co-star. Well, I guess it could SEEM that he's dedicated. I don't buy it. I don't know, I look at the greats. Anthony Hopkins. Charlie Chaplin. Katherine Hepburn. Bette Davis. Dick Van Dyke, who could do stinkin' anything, by the way. Many others that I won't take the time to name. I shouldn't even have to mention all the brilliant Vaudeville performers who performed with everything they had, just to eat that night. I guess that's considered mentioning, though. How can someone like Robert Pattinson, who is simply a supposed teenage heart-throb, be compared to these fantastic and revolutionary actors? I can't accept that. I have an obligation to great cinema not to accept that. I don't want to tear him down. It's just wrong to wish for anyone to fail. It's just...I wish that, instead of blowing money on stupid things (like parties), he would be more wise and helpful with the cash he's being blessed with. Buy a kid a freakin' lolli-pop or somethin', ya know? It seems like that's step one to ultimate failation. Yes, I did just create that word. And I wish our generation could be acquainted to the before mentioned elites of great pictures.

I still can't take a vampire love story seriously. Robert's not "my boy." I'd consider Mickey Rooney to fill that position better. He's a kid at heart, and he worked hard in his glory years.

Robert can complain all he wants. It doesn't phase my emotions. The guy who played the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz had to sleep standing up. The Lion had an incredibly large amount of weight in that suit. Judy Garland had to be in a painful harness to make her look younger, and they all had to deal with the basic pains of acting in that time, which was most likely a million times harder than today's acting world. I did say most likely, as I'm not completely sure.

OK...shouldn't a journalist do a little research before writing an article? Robert Pattinson was asked a question during an interview about what were the best and worst things about filming twilight. ONE, not the only thing, was that his eyes are very sensitive and the contacts bothered him and he also said that the harness for the wire stunts were difficult and painful as well. I'm not bashing this writer at all because everyone is entitled to an opinion. I am not a teenager, I am a grown woman in her thirties and I do feel that with Rob's sudden fame there will be critics who want to tear him down. I do believe we have something special to look forward to with this young actor. He is 23 and already seems intensely dedicated to his craft. So with a little marturity and experience, our boy will go on to win oscars, trust.

Thank you, Tricia Olszewski. Thank you. I have hope for humanity yet. What is Robert Pattinson, anyway? A guy who walks around, apparently too "cool" to laugh at himself, with a head that's more greasy than a piece of pizza that drips is all that I can see in his accomplishments. Is hygiene not important, anymore? I don't care if he was "in pain" from those contacts lessons. If you're being paid millions of dollars to portray an emotion, then you better freakin' portray it. I couldn't care less if you had a leprechaun trying to eat your foot at the time. Do your job.

And no, I'm not a Twilight fan. I can't take a VAMPIRE LOVE STORY seriously. I'm as close-minded as the Robert Pattinson fans on this subject.

I didn't really think Roberts performance was bad, I liked his use of his eyes they did provide enormous amounts of emotion for him. Kristen on the other hand should continue acting lessons. I couldn't understand why she couldn't get her words out and why they let her continue like that. Of course then I saw a interview with her thats how she really talks. Not much acting in that. Frankly, I think all the hype has been way to much of a strain on both actors and both should be replaced. Not because I don't like Robert I do very much. He just can't handle the attention very well. And Kristen well she looks the part but can't talk, and turns to smoking a pipe as soon as she gets to much press. Or was it just that difficult to work with Katherine for both of them. I think the nearly the whole movie could have been filmed in the cafeteria, without the monkey tree climbing stuff. I know she just wanted to show the beauty of the area. I could have done without all of it because she failed to produce the meadow that I for one had been anticipating and it ruined the movie altogether.
