I think his prolificacy partly depends on pumping posts out and rarely looking at them again. He doesn't get involved in the comments often. Perhaps a touch of very, very well concealed irony by Yglesias? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, since from what little I know about him, it seems unlikely that he'd keep away from his blog long enough to let this much-commented-on typo go uncorrected.
