Vinny Cerrato Stays Off the Air
Vinny Cerrato, the Redskins executive vice president—football operations and house DJ, did not show up for his semi-weekly radio show this morning on Dan Snyder's sports station, WTEM-AM.
Cerrato took a Jason Campbellesque pounding during last Monday's show after the Skins went down so meekly to the New York Giants.
One caller, speaking for legions of fans, told the Skins de facto GM, "You need to step down or hire somebody who knows what they’re doing. You don’t know what you’re doing when it comes to picking players.”
Cerrato's team took another step toward sub-mediocrity last night in Baltimore.
The shallowness of the squad's talent pool was exposed to a national TV audience when Chris Samuels went down, and somebody named Justin Geisinger, whose physique reminds me of my slo-pitch softball days, was thrown in at left tackle.
But Cerrato didn't show up to answer for his charges' performance today. According to WTEM, the absence was scheduled before the Redskins fell to 7-6.

I hate to defend that moron, but he did say on Friday's show that there would be no show this morning.

Vinny Cerrato is a dolt. Dan Schneider never truly built a business from the ground up...he made his fortune in the .com days in telecommunications with alot of help from alot of wealthy investors than sold it to a bunch of no nothing financiers who are responsible in many ways for our current economic situation. In short, Dan doesn't know how to build the car he just knows how to sell it. How can we expect this guy to "BUILD" a Superbowl championship when he has no idea how to.
My beloved Redskins have been hi jacked and the hijacker(s) have no intention of selling it for ransome...they are planning on crashing the plane...what friggin egos!
