Murder Victims Identified

A few days ago, the D.C. Police Department released the names of two recent murder victims.

Dimitri Boykins, 20, lived on the 200 block of 37th Street, SE. He was killed last week on October 29. According to the police department, just after 3 p.m., Boykins was found at the 5700 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue NE. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at 3:33 p.m.

Bernard Holmes, 35, lived on the 700 block of Congress Street SE. He was killed last week on October 29. According to the police department, at about 4:22 p.m., Holmes was found laying in front of 3500 Wheeler Road SE, "suffering from a gunshot wound to the body." He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:09 p.m.
