Considering Barr wasn't able to get 3,000 DC residents to sign a petition to get him on the ballot, the numbers may not be as high as you think. I can't understand how Ober managed to do it for his Libertarian run for shadow senator but the Libertarians couldn't manage it for the presidential race.
