She's still registered as a Republican, and she said on the day she announced the write-in bid that she would remain a Republican.

CMinus, since she's running as a write-in, there's no party for her on the ballot because she's not on the ballot (unlike Lieberman). Presumably she's still registered as a Republican, though the party may have provisions to kick her out because she's running against their nominee.

Does Schwartz count as a Republican any more, since Mara won the party's nomination? Shouldn't she be an "Independent Republican," like Lieberman, only less conservative?
