If you were going to search for natural predators of an agricultural pest which recently made its way to California, would you look somewhere other than in its pre-existing range? Those were the fruit flies that Palin was referring to in her autism speech. The fruit fly remark had nothing at all to do with medical research or autism. So if your going to say that she is anti-science, best try someting new.
