Beaujon to Georgetown Voice: I Do Not Look Like Todd Louiso

Yes, Sam Sweeny, your article on the City Paper is pretty good. But saying I look like the “bald record store clerk from High Fidelity” is just plain baldism. Here’s Todd Louiso’s IMDB page—if anyone around here looks like him, it’s Moyer. Me, I’m more like Dean Stockwell with a shaved head.

Compare photos below. I’m the one with the glasses.

    Wait–which one is you again?

Pretty good? He didn’t interview Cherkis. That’s like doing a family profile and leaving out the crazy ass uncle.
He also didn’t ask anyone why they don’t grow a set (Jule’s expression) and tell Eason to suck it.

I’d like to see a comparison of hat shots, just to be certain.

Dag–that dude does look kinda like Moyer!

Hey, at least you weren’t called “rough around the edges.”

    I’m not crazy but….

Am I wrong or is Amy Austin defending cutting our food critic, our best writer (Mr. Joe Eaton), and several other awesome writers? From the Voice piece:

“The second round of Creative Loafing’s planned cuts came in December 2007, as they scaled back the paper’s editorial budget and slashed the editorial staff. According to Austin, the size of the City Paper’s editorial budget as a percentage of overall revenue, the method most newspapers use to measure the size of each department, was historically much larger than the industry average.

“It wasn’t like [the editorial budget] couldn’t stand some reducing,” Austin.

It couldn’t been worse–you could’ve been Jack Black.

I get Jack Black every once in a while. Some lady said that to me at the Black Cat a couple of weeks ago.

I told her it was not a compliment.

Read the article, need to read it again. Thanks to Jule for forwarding.

    Def Moyer, not Beaujon.

In response to the article, just trying to bite my tongue.

Gawd, a co-worker has told me that I look like Todd Louiso, too!

At least he is younger than me.

Baldies aside, I love that Cherkis’s desk is a metonym for the general CP disorder.
