&lt;em&gt;Offbeat&lt;/em&gt; had a great beginning, and then turned into sappy bullshit (Unless you contend that sentimental and poorly performed mock therapy counts as sophistication?)

&lt;em&gt;Aviatrix&lt;/em&gt; lacked balance. The sci-fi scenes were great, the reality scenes were uncomfortably bad (or do you contend that a pouty-faced bore, who smokes when she has cancer--was that supposed to be edgy?--is the pinnacle of sophistication?)

As for collegehumor.com: I appreciate good film-making regardless of its culture rating. (Or do you contend that demanding of a festival film artsyness &lt;em&gt;and&lt;/em&gt; entertainment value kills all signs of sophistication?)</description>
