The question is whether he can get enough votes to affect the outcome. Mara's hope of winning is for the independents to split the votes enough that he can squeak by -- and also for lots of Democrats, as they usually do, to skip casting their second vote. I think a "Brown and Brown" campaign, even though it likely wouldn't be officially endorsed by Kwame, is an excellent way to educate voters that they get two votes for at-large in November.
