Mara&#039;s hope of winning is for the independents to split the votes enough that he can squeak by -- and also for lots of Democrats, as they usually do, to skip casting their second vote.

I think a &quot;Brown and Brown&quot; campaign, even though it likely wouldn&#039;t be officially endorsed by Kwame, is an excellent way to educate voters that they get two votes for at-large in November. Tonight DC for Democracy became, I think, the first organization to endorse Brown and Brown.</description>
