One Way Obama Could Frame the Palin Debate

At this point, I have to ask: Is there anything Sarah Palin said in her convention speech and stump speech that is not a lie? I doubt she’s ever field dressed a moose. I doubt she’s shot one. Her fightin’ that Bridge to Nowhere story–a lie. Don’t believe me, check out here, here, and here. [You'll note most of the media that's calling Palin out are local media from Alaska---not the timid mainstream press].

Her fightin’ wasteful projects? A lie. On not spending the tax payer’s hard-earned money needlessly? A lie.

Her selling that government plane on eBay? A big fat lie. She actually sold it to broker for a loss.

I know Obama will never call out Palin/McCain as serial fibbers. But he could and should frame an argument that they are exaggerators. He needs a coherent theme and argument. The exaggeration theme would do it.

Please check this out … the most comprehensive page of information on Sarah Palin on the Internet … including videos of her saying her proposed $30 billion pipeline is the “will of God,” her saying a month ago she doesn’t know what the vice-president does, and her recently praising the biggest pork barrel spender in Congress Ted Stevens -

It has in-depth research, audio clips, videos, excerpts, and links to hundreds of articles, including many from newspapers and TV stations in Alaska. It has rare footage, including her telling the ‘08 convention of the Alaska Independence Party, whose aim is to give Alaska a vote on seceding from the U.S., to “keep up the good work.” The level of research is unparalled. The site’s editors and volunteers include an Emmy-award winning CNN reporter, the former operating editor of the Monitor’s web site, the former head of NPRs News Blog and the Executive Director of the Online News Association -

Palin is corrupt & insane – Cheney’s perfect replacement. Palin is a card-carrying member of the American “Christian” Taliban, & is certifiably insane. And Palin is as corrupt as a June day in Alaska is long.

She stole the $60-a-day allowance is available for state employees when traveling on official state business to cover meals and other sundry expenses. Ms. Palin’s per diems, which included some charges for partial days, totaled $17,059, from Dec. 4, 2006, when she took office, through June 30, 2008, the most recent data available, according to Sharon Leighow, a spokeswoman for the governor’s office. Ms. Palin’s salary is $125,000 a year. And what about the expenses for her brats & her lowlife, clingy spongy “man”? How is he entitled to suckle the public teat?

Mr. McCain and Ms. Palin have frequently cited her record in Alaska as proof of her willingness to shake things up, saying she rid the state of a personal chef in the governor’s mansion and put the state’s private jet on eBay. McCain even claimed that she sold the plane “at a profit.” (The plane did not actually sell on eBay but was sold at a loss later to another buyer.)

No, it doesn’t, kob. What does matter is an extraordinary amount of low IQ citizens who vote but frankly shouldn’t be allowed to. Which puts me in mind: The right to vote must be elevated to privilege. I’m not saying democracy is a game for elites, yet to be granted this privilege folks must demonstrate the ability to reason, and in some cases, to read and write.
