They must be, Ernest. The rise of Palin? We shall see about that. My friends and I not “energized” at all. But then, she is more popular with men than women, as expected. Ummmmmmm. I had no notion there were that many morons to support her.

I'm as indignant as you are, Peggy. That grandpa of a senator and his buxom assistant must be opposed.

Because despite what has been said by Ernest may seem unkind and somewhat gross, it is not false. To be direct, Mr. McCain is pimping Mrs. Palin to help propel himself to power. Does not she realize her role’s true meaning? Should not she be ashamed of her ambition? More frightful still, she may well rise, not unlike Hitler. The worst dictatorships, one may recall, began with so called “middle-class” revolts.

Ernest is so right on so many subjects.

As he so cleverly pointed out, what GOP is trying to sell us is not a Hockey Mom "on a mission from God" but a Busty Mom on the mission from the Devil, the unholy one himself. Ever felt like being cheated?

I can't begin to tell you how contemptious it is of our democracy.

It has been said that Palin is a right wing harridan carefully pulled out of Alaskan wilderness in a desperate attempt to appeal to the "Hilary Moms" of America, She well may. Still, this is too easy. Yes, Palin, is, in essence, a successful cutthroat career gal of Rice, Myers, Coulter variety, which indeed should appeal to a contingent of “gutsy” career types like herself. But, seriously, why would anyone else vote for a sporadically-educated, slightly off kilter, uber-ambitions Hockey Mom with “barracuda” people skills and mannerisms of a provincial schoolmarm? There’s plenty of them plying their skill all over the country and the political spectrum, left and right. This one just happened to get ahead due to the obvious lack of competition in the freezing latitudes. GOP is well aware of that. The public is aware of that. Gop is aware the public is aware. So why Palin then? The matter is quite simple really: To a certain taste, she has the Older Babe Busty Mom sexual appeal and thus selected to attract the connoisseurs of certain popular niche in the internet pornography, i.e, Juicy Moms, Oldies but Goldies, Milfionaire, XXX Amateur Moms, Beauty Over 40 - that sort of allure, to mention only the mentionable titles. Disgusting business, yes. But can it be that McCain’s seemingly visceral decision to enlist Sarah’s services was a part of the more devious plan to “energize” the e n t i r e fan base of the genre??...

Is this GOP choice contemptuous it is of the public, of democracy? Undoubtedly. Is Sarah an insult to feminism, womankind, and a tribute to rednecks and people with poor taste in pornography? Of course. Yet, according the USA Today/Gallup national poll, the strategy seems to be already working. How awful.

47-year-old- NILF? Well, this commentator wouldn’t.

I really, really, really hope that the "n" in NILF stands for "nominee" and not, well, you know, that other n-word: necktie. Mostly because I'm not quite sure how you'd copulate with a necktie. Bowtie or cravat, sure. Who hasn't? But necktie-love is just unthinkable.
