These lifeguards need to be ducktaped with cement flippers on.

What's the going rate to save a drowner? Is it more for a child? Do senior drowners get a discount? Or do they get charged MORE due to age and effort expended to bring their old wrinkled bodies back to life?

Put names and faces to these asswipes and let the public serve them appropriately.

LOL since when is 25th and N considered Dupont Circle territory? I lived on 24th and M all summer and I would consider that West End or at the very least, the edge of Foggy.

Paying parking money to a lifeguard is like paying the security guard at your office building an admissions fee to the elevator. Nobody's perfect though.

Isn't this the same pool where the baby/toddler pooped in the water?

They charged me last Saturday, too! It was definitely the lifeguards doing it.

I was going to move the car, but then I decided $5 was actually a good deal. It was very convenient, although I certainly pay enough taxes to be able to use a public lot for free.

I specifically asked about a sign related to the parking fee, and they told me the same thing: it must have been taken down. So, I've been scammed, then.
