True. Silverman's “comedy” is vulgar, crude, distasteful and often plain repulsive. Why can one say temptress, waitress, hostess, English woman yet not Jewess? Ernest attacked unjustly. He has a fresh, uncluttered outlook.

Ok, let's calm down here with the anti-Semitism claims. As a Jew myself, I feel I have the authority to say that Ernest was (barely) within the realm of good taste by calling Sarah Silverman a Jewess. She frequently plays up that aspect of her persona so I think that's fair game. Perhaps Ernest was referencing that Gilda Radner skit on SNL about Jewess Jeans?
