Meanwhile, the Christian Scientists are still suing D.C. to save their Brutalist building downtown. D.C. likes Brutal buildings.

   i guess it depends how you interpret the word "saving".

   it'd be nice if Metro would put those hand straps on the buses too. there are definitely areas of the bus where there is no place to hold on but the rails across the top and at less than 5'3", i can't reach.
