Last Day to Register to Vote in Primary

A friendly LL reminder to you prospective District voters: Today is the deadline to register to vote in the Sept. 9 local primaries.

So go REGISTER NOW to have your vote counted in races for at-large councilmember, councilmembers in Wards 2, 4, 7, and 8, shadow representative and senator, and local party leadership slots.

And, if you do it online, you get to enjoy the Board of Elections and Ethics’ sweet new Web site!

It’s about time they made the filing list available for the November election. I do wish they’d stop putting every damn bit of text in a PDF, but one step at a time.

Thanks for the tip. The website does look good. But, in order to complete my online address change, I have to print out the form (yes, a PDF) and MAIL it in! “The Board must receive YOUR printed and SIGNED application form in order to process your application.” I’m curios to know if new “online” voter registrations must be mailed in as well.
