If Teddy Loza can be arrested for a bride then Mckinleys' principal should be arrested after all of the criminal activity that he has done that came out during the 20 something hour hearing before the council. And, I must say the activity was very dangerous also to the children. Those silly sicko cops that beat and sprayed those kids at Mckinley should be put into prison and also to make an example of them so they don't hurt inocent people and kids anymore.

I'm am sure the FBI will be investigating Principal Pinder, Rhee and Fenty and others.

What an ass. He was given a ticket to attend and pretty much invited himself up onto the stage. If he wanted to be up there, he should've called earlier and asked.

What the Council (and the citizens) wants is transparency and a little respect from this administration and the agencies (DCPS being one of them) that are subject to their oversight. In the absence of transparency, we (the city) will be subject to George Bush-like governance and we know how well that has worked out. As elected officials, Council Members (particularly Ward representatives) should be afforded the courtesy of being apprised of significant events happening in our city, or at the least, in their respective wards.

My favorite part of this story? January 2007 was *19* months ago, not 16. So glad that CM Thomas can count.

Thomas says: "To use a beautiful occasion to celebrate our students’ accomplishments to expound derision is exceptionally troubling."

Can anyone explain what that sentence even means? How do you expound derision? And how do you expound derision because a self-important politician couldn't sit on a stage "with other dignitaries"?

Maybe because the "gasbag" was elected by the voters of Ward 5, and the citizens of DC are understandably particularly unhappy about having their elected representatives be ignored?

This is what drive me crazy about these a-hole Council Members. Couldn't sit on the stage? Boo hoo. No one consulted me about the hiring of the athletic director? Are you kidding me? Why should Rhee waste a minute of her time kowtowing to this gasbag? Crawl back into your pothole, Junior.
