IHOP is the bomb. Everyone likes a cheap breakfast--not just old people and drunks. I wish they would open one in NW, since going out for $20 brunches on the weekends gets old.

To the contrary, I think the post is poignant and a little sad. He used the opening of IHOP in Ward 8, which he acknowledges is a big deal, to tell a smaller personal story.

And come on, everyone can relate to the bottomless drink.

What was his point?
To make fun of Congress Heights being happy about having an IHOP or to make fun of Karen?
Either way....Jason is a jerk. This came off as an arrogant White person making fun of the "others".
