Maxed Out on Chandra
This morning I pulled my Washington Post from its clear bag, opened it, and gazed at the front page. I noted that Chapter 11 in the Chandra series related to the discovery of her body in Rock Creek Park, and then I short-circuited. I couldn't read another word. Just can't do it.

Christ, and I'm tired of all the inane City Desk posts there are about the inanity of the Post's series. What is this, City Desk's ninth entry about it? How much pitiful mileage does your paper intend to wrest from your misplaced indignation?

"I couldn’t read another word. Just can’t do it."
Whatever, it's not as if you guys are putting out stories that are any more stimulating or interesting. Just the same old bullshit week after week.

Yeah, you're right. A story about a surveillance expert who happens to be obsessed with finding Bigfoot really is the same old, same old. Thanks for the reality check.

Jule is right for the most part. The cover stories are almost always (85 percent of the time) great—even the ones I thought I wouldn’t like turn out well because of the consistently good reporting and writing. More people should read them.
But please, give it a rest about the Chandra Levy series. I truly believe that none of you have any idea how petty and idiotic you’re coming off with all your complaints about this series.

Yeah Wemple, just stop. This is becoming embarrassing, even for you.
