Whenn I moved from Ward 8 to Ward 6, I decided to sell the car and buy wheeled cart that all my friends affectionately call my "granny cart". Isn't that sweet of them?

I got mine 2 years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond with the lovely 20% coupon! They have a wide assortment and when shopping for a granny cart, a wide assortment is always nice.

Or kerosene.

The chocolate milk. Must Brianne feed her pimples?

Amanda is so right. The city is the friendliness itself.

I so agree, al. The post is quite devoid of any depth. It fails to emphasize the stuff that matters, such as the rising price of foods as well as gasoline, or diesel for that matter.

J - Washingtonians aren't friendly. That's not a stereotype.

(It's not just our city either. If the US quit bombing other countries maybe the country's reputation would fare better as well.)

I would say target is your best bet

Just take one of the grocery store carts. My neighbors did that. Anytime I saw them I would shake my head.

The main grocery market in Mt. Pleasant (Best something) used to have them. Haven't checked in a while. I'm sure that would be just about the cheapest place to look.

You can find those carts at your neighborhood hardware store. Hardware stores in DC don't just carry the usual: tool kits, plungers, nails, and ladders. They also offer shower curtains, the little hooks to hang them up with, trash cans, dish racks, cups, plates, silverware and even the elusive metal shopping cart you are looking for.
