I'm not sure they are the worst company because I've been with them 10 years - but they FEEL like the worst insurance company. I use Danny Fong the agent at University Village Seattle - everyone in his office is inept and unable to work to the benefit of their client. I insure a house/4 cars/boat and umbrella and can't get a call back! Recently my parked car was hit in the middle of the night by another allstate customer. It was sent to Phil's autobody an Allstate approved adjustor who of course didn't total the car and repaired it instead. It has had problem after problem - and they are so incompetent they can't even figure out which car of mine or claim number!! I can't wait to find a new insurance agent:)

Let's get things rolling by getting them kicked out of Florida where the government at least has a clue. All insurance compaines are bad but Allstate is the worst!

Actually it's more like the Association of Bear Gun Manufacturers coming out with a list of top 10 slowest bears.

Ehh. Keep in mind that this comes from the Trial Lawyer's association, a group that derives its lifeblood from ordinary citizens' resentment of insurance companies, and other big corporate baddies.

This fact would be more obvious if the Association of Trial Lawyers of America hadn't changed its name to the American Association for Justice, which is just about the most ridiculous rebranding this side of Deborah Gibson.

Altria ought to follow their lead and become Puppies, Apple Pie, and Jesus, Inc.

Funnily enough, I've had better experiences with three of these companies than I did with the unlisted-but-unforgivable Nationwide.
