How hardcore. It is amazing that you can choose to live your life in such a manner as to not have to have appearances in court. Then find out you can be arrested anyway because you did not show up due to someone else's inability to behave. I do not see this much energy expended in situations with the many criminals overrunning our streets! Civic duty - responsibility - so is going to work to pay your bills and all of the other activities in taking care of their family that a person can be overwhelmed with handling! As usual criminals just take and take from our society - time, money, space and resources!

How do you figure out if it's YOU who's been bench warranted (sure, that's a verb) for missing jury duty?

Perhaps Judge King should direct the attention of law enforcement to the crime situation at 17th and Euclid, and track down and arrest the juveniles responsible for the crimes there, rather than arresting people for not showing up for jury duty.

"will then be detained by law enforcement until they can be brought before a judge..."

And then their charges will be dismissed, because there won't be enought jurors to handle the trials.

And the circle of life continues...
