Our deepest sympathy to the Russert Family and to all his 2nd family of NBC, Tim Russert our "Gentle Giant" will leave an immense void in all our hearts, but for his sake and his family we must take the many lessons he taught us all and practice them all in our own lives, he was a truly decent brilliant man and I can see Luke will carry on his name with pride and courage. Thank you Russert Family for sharing your husband and father with us all We love you Tim.

What an excellent idea. A lasting memory. A gift we can also give his father Big Russ for the gift he gave Washington as well, I think.

To The Russert Family and All..
What a loss!!One can look back and be so sad but one can look forward and take what we learned from Tim Russert to form our furtures. He made me think every time he spoke and I so appreciated the stimulus he lent to my brain and spirit. What a guy!!
I feel for Luke as he lost his Father at the same age that I lost my Mother who was a sensible, smart, and caring individual as your Father was. One often wonders.."How do you get through this?" It is difficult at first but your Dad will be part of every decision you ever make and the guidance he lent will make you a better person. I promise that if you ever make a foolish decision he will let you know ahead of time. The important part is to listen to his voice as so many of the American Public has done in the past years. Thank You so very much for sharing your Husband and Father with all of us. I will so miss him on Sunday "Meet the Press", and I am not sure how I will make my decisions in the upcoming election without his guidance.
Love and Prayer to all of his family and friends. He was the kind of guy that you felt was your friend and mentor without ever meeting him in person.
Respectfully,
Mona Reynolds
