I was totally convinced I'd be killed by a tree driving home from The Promotion yesterday. An especially awful death considering the crappiness of the movie.

I loathe rain, and hate to get wet also. I wish it rained only during weeknights from midnight to 5 AM.

But what about lightning and thunder and falling trees. When I was in college, a student got hit with a falling tree branch and died.

I can understand the fear/dislike for rain when it's cold, but if it's hot *and* your on your way home, what's the big deal...it's just water...
