Should we be concerned that the new readers are found in a place called "Surburbia"? Or just say "Damn the torpedos" and hire back a staff writer?

Please hire Eaton back. Isn't Baltimore now a suburb?

If it's true that the Onion gets more readers than City Paper in DC, that's the real concern.

On the other hand, the back of the cereal box has more readers than WaPo.

One of the commenters to that post suggests that the numbers were crunched only with publications that are clients of the Media Audit. (Is WCP a client of the Media Audit? No clue. I try to avoid things with the word "audit" in them.)

I think we should recruit local bloggers from each of the suburbs. Call it Burb Desk. Get some folks on the suburban weather beat. Tornados! Earthquakes! Derailments! Well, the last one is not exactly weather. What do I know, though. while(*i++ = *j++); That's all I know.

i bet the Onion's website lets its commenters have accounts.

(actually, i don't think you can comment on the onion at all)

If you look at the link again- it doesnt say the onion has more readers than the city paper, just that the onion has a larger circulation - about double city papers.

The onions a waste of paper- they should just stick to online. The boxes are always full which leads me to think of all the trees that were cut down...
