You guys are hilarious.. Don't feel bad, we were 0-6 here at ABC NEWS until last weekend... We were a modern day version of the Bad News Bears.. Just our luck that the Express only had 9 players in the first game and we were able to take advantage.

Come on, Carman. NOTHING's as tedious as our losses :) Personally, I realized the level of esteem that the other teams in the league hold us right around the time when the National Press Club's 3rd base coach, following up on another CP error, kindly said to me, "You know, you guys have just the best attitude of any team we play! You just come out and have fun. I love it!" It would be nice to think that our great attitude is NOT because we have nothing else, but I'm a realist. And this guy was being genuinely nice, but it still reminded me of that old tasteless joke about winning gold in the Special Olympics: Even when you win, you're still a Shadow :)
