it should be required that if you work at Washington City Paper you know what “boat” refers to. it’s not new, it’s not cool, it’s BOAT. now if i said “that’s BOOT!”, it is understandable if you don’t get my reference. But boat? Come on City Paper, hire some Washingtonians if need be.
