Enough Already With the Kids!

The Washington Post has gone kid crazy lately, with huge stories on rich kids begging for a prom date (front page?), on the place oral sex has in kids' lives, and now a series on obese kids.

A single story about rich, fat kids begging for oral sex at the prom would have sufficed.

Though perhaps Laura Sessions Stepp has already written that piece.

   I actually appreciate coverage of adolescents, but stories like this--"Contrary to widespread belief, teenagers do not appear to commonly engage in oral sex as a way to preserve their virginity"--are written for the elderly trying to understand what "young people" are up to these days. Have you heard of these "rainbow parties" the kids are throwing? I don't understand it, but I hear it's an epidemic!
