Porn Available for $30 at the Avalon June 3

I don’t get the Chuck Palahniuk phenomenon, but clearly the folks at Olsson’s know that there are lots of people who do—if you’re willing to drop $30, you can catch him June 3 at an Olsson’s-sponsored event at the Avalon. He’ll be talking with Eric Nuzum (who I interviewed a little while back), and I assume the main topic of discussion will be Palahniuk’s new novel, Snuff, which is about a porn star who’s decided to take on 600 fellas in a row. The MySpace page for the book has a list of the various films that heroine Cassie Wright has starred in (Chitty Chitty Gang Bang, The Ass Menagerie, Bang the Bum Slowly). What’s the market for the book? Horny high-school sophomores?
