It shook or vibrated the house and sounded somthing like a snow plow truck coming down the street. It definately got my attention, and I went upstair and outside to investigate; and am just learning now that the USGS has confirmed a "micro" quake in Annandale, VA in close proximity of Burke. Here is what Arlington Alert said: The National Earthquake Information Center, via FEMA Operations, is reporting that Northern VA has experienced rumblings equivalent to an earthquake of magnitude 2 to 3.
