Are any kids in your office today? Today is “Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day” (expanded from “Take Our Daughters To Work Day” in 2003). I don’t see any kids running around here though, learning how to do my job. I seem to remember heading into my parent’s offices a couple times at the end of April when I was growing up. Does anybody do this anymore? -Amanda Hess

I work at NIST in Gaithersburg - they had a day full of tours, science demos & lectures for kids ages 9-14, I found out too late the 1 morning they had advance registration for this, it fills up fast. Bummer - my kid would have liked to attend that. Some people brought their kids to their labs in anyway, even if they did not make the list. I also saw kids helping their mom at the front desk of a radiology center…

I work at an association in downtown DC and there are a bunch of kids here. They had activities for them downstairs most of the day though.
