Divas Fall in “Upset of the Century!”

Is the dynasty crumbling? The DC Divas lost the 2008 opener on the road on Saturday to the Boston Militia, 27-22. It was the Divas' first regular season defeat since 2003.

The Militia are having some fun with the win, putting the headline "UPSET of the Century!" over a redone World War II propaganda poster, complete with a tattooed Rosie the Riveter, on the front page of the team Web site.

The Divas have a week to forget the Beantown beating before opening their home schedule on April 26 against the Baltimore Nighthawks at the PG Sports and Learning Complex in Landover. As family friendly sporting events go, Divas home games are tough to beat.
