To paraphrase the Chinese proverb: How many words is this picture worth? A chance to gawk at someone without being rude. Wendy was once an actress - the video is a sort of study in subtle emotion and gesture. It almost reminds me of an audition tape. I like the effect of posing her near a mirror so that we see her back, something we'd never see on "News 4 at 5." She is completely likeable, which is what the medium (and we) demand of our talking heads. Heck, she's practically our paramour.

Visual studies like these reveal personal predujices and stereotypes. It's pretty ridiculous to make assumptions about someone's identity by watching them stare at a camera for 3 minutes. I'd be curious to know people's reactions to a subject who wasn't an attractive, white, blonded haired woman.

Much love for Wendy, I've been watching her and NBC4 since I was a kid. Get my boy Jim Vance on here.

I loved it, and it made me like Wendy Rieger even more. Everything about her shows her to be a hip, conscientious, and NICE person. Need a lot more of those in this town. I also appreciate Justin's creativity.

Neat idea. Surprising what you can infer about a person by observing body language only. Mostly confident, just the right amount of self consciousness about the whole thing, animated, a bit flirty, cute.
