Good News in Mt. P has baby stats! The blog reports on the progress of the then-pregnant woman who fled the burning apartment building in Mount Pleasant. The blog gives the baby's vitals and adds that the family is still in limbo. They are currently at an "extended stay" hotel.

And Now, Anacostia finds Cherry Blossoms in Fairlawn Park. So screw the big crowds, traffic congestion, and tourists clutching SLRs. They write that blossoms were planted this past weekend courtesy of Main Street Anacostia. DCist points to alternative sources as well.

Frozen Tropics notes Capitol Cleaners at 13th and H Streets NE has been gutted. Among the comments, there is mourning and there is gawking at the specter of cleaning solvents staining the space.
