I saw the general decline over the past couple years, but this year it has just been egregious - unnecessary use of anonymous sources (i.e. anonymously quoting someone's opinion on Britney Spears' hat), simpering treatment of celebs, etc. And now this alright thing...;) When do you think the transition happened?
